Kevin Elliott, Horn
Kevin Elliott was born and educated in Lancashire. He studied French Horn at the Royal Academy of Music and the North West German Academy in Detmold with Michael Holtzel.
He has played Horn with most of the major London orchestras and has appeared regularly as a soloist on the South Bank and abroad with the London Soloists Chamber Orchestra.
He has been principal Horn with the Rambert Dance Company for 25 years now and is a regular performer with Chameleon Arts.
He was professor of Horn at the Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall.
Clare Lintott, Horn
Clare was a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain for 4 years. She studied at The Royal Academy of Music in London, and while studying was already a busy freelance player in and around London.
During her playing career, Clare has performed, recorded and toured with all the major London orchestras, including the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, the Academy of St Martin on the Fields, the City of London Sinfonia, the Philharmonia and the Royal Ballet Sinfonia, as well as regional orchestras, such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, the City of Birmingham Orchestra and the Brighton Philharmonic, and La Camerata, Athens Chamber Orchestra.
Martyn Bayliss, Horn
Martyn was trained at the Royal Academy of Music and has enjoyed a diverse career from period instrument orchestras to modern day leading symphony orchestras.
He can also be found playing in London’s Opera and Theatre pits as well as the recording studios and live on television and radio.
Oliver Preece, Trumpet
After playing with the National Youth Orchestra Oliver went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music, GSMD and Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA.
He has enjoyed a busy freelance career in a diverse range of music from classical to jazz. This has included working with both London and UK provincial orchestras as well as with orchestras abroad, such as the Athens Camerata, Orquestra do Porto, Ulster Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra.
Oliver has played extensively in the West End for many different shows including Chicago, Phantom of the Opera and Mary Poppins. He is also a founder member of Seraphim Trumpets.
Philip Dale, Trombone
Philip Dale is a sought-after player of both modern and period trombones. Since 2016 he has been Principal Trombone with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Co-Principal Trombone at the Orchestra of the 18th Century.
Freelance work has included British and International orchestras and opera companies, including The Philharmonia, The Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Opera North and Garsington Opera. Philip plays for West End shows and the Globe Theatre, as well as commercial and TV sound tracks.
